Digital Ministry

Vision for Digital Ministry at Topsail Presbyterian Church

To faithfully use technology to deepen worship, strengthen community, and extend the church's reach—within our walls and beyond.

Overview

Our efforts as a Digital Ministry team are not just about technology—they are about people, connection, and discipleship. With prayer, planning, and participation, we can ensure that our digital presence reflects the warmth, faith, and mission of Topsail Presbyterian Church.

Our Digital Ministry is here to serve and strengthen the life of our church community—both in person and online. Through thoughtful use of technology, we aim to enhance worship, improve communication, and create meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and support.

We’ve developed several key focus areas designed to meet the needs of our congregation in today’s digital age. Each area reflects our mission to make the Gospel more accessible, our ministries more connected, and our church more welcoming to all.

  • Our Digital Ministry Team plays a vital role in helping Topsail Presbyterian Church share the Gospel beyond our sanctuary walls. Each week, the team manages the audio/visual presentation and live-streaming of our worship services, ensuring that those who are homebound, traveling, or exploring our church from afar can still join us in worship.

Whether you're watching live on Sunday morning or catching up later in the week, our online worship experience is designed to be accessible, meaningful, and high-quality.

In addition to livestreaming our 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday, we maintain a complete archive of past services—so you can revisit a favorite sermon, share a message with a friend, or stay connected during a busy season.

  • Many in our congregation have asked for help with hearing during worship, and we’re happy to share that we’ve installed a new hearing assistance system in the sanctuary!

The system includes a transmitter connected to our sound system and five wireless receivers. We’ve tested it over the past few weeks, and the feedback has been very positive.

Each receiver comes with its own earpiece. If you’d prefer not to use the shared earpiece, we provide disinfectant and individually packaged earbuds you can keep and bring back each week.

You’ll find the receivers in a basket on the first table to the right as you enter the sound room. When you’re finished, please turn off the receiver and return it to the basket.

    A few helpful tips:

    • Please don’t ask the sound room team for help—they’re busy managing the service.

    • You only need to use the power and volume buttons.
Be careful not to press the channel button—this will disconnect you from the service audio.
If that happens, just switch the channel back to 01, or turn the receiver off and on again.
