(Program suspended due to pandemic) Tuesday night children & youth programs

Youth NewsLetter-Coming soon

We have four different programs on Tuesday evenings here at Topsail Presbyterian Church.  Descriptions of each group are detailed below.

We are proud to offer these programs for both our congregation AND our community so we encourage you and your children to invite friends, family and neighbors to join the fun.

All of the programs begin in the fellowship hall around the dinner table starting at 5:30 pm. Dinner will be prepared and served by youth families and church member volunteers.

If it is your first time attending our programs, we ask that you escort your child into the building, meet staff and volunteers and complete required paperwork before leaving.

Pick-up & Drop-off is at our Fellowship Hall doors under the portico.  There will be a child/youth leader at the door checking children in and out.

For safety, all exterior doors to the church are locked during children/youth programs.  Parents are required to notify staff if they will be picking up early.

Children's GroupS

Little Stars- This is our preschool program, designed for 4 and 5-year-old Pre-K children. Our Little Stars will learn that God loves them through age appropriate bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Jam Connection- This program is designed for children K-5th grade. Jam connection allows children to come together and fellowship through Gods love by participating in Bible stories, crafts, and fun games.

Youth groups

Journey- This program is designed for youth, 6th-8th grade. Journey will provide opportunities for spiritual growth, service, fun, and Christian fellowship. Journey will venture out into the community for activities, trips, and retreats.

Believe Youth Group- This group is designed for 9th -12th grade. Believe seeks to build strong relationships with God and young people. This group works closely together to have a better understanding of the bible.  Youth will learn how to have compassion for others and how to identify themselves through Jesus Christ. They will also be challenged to better understand and live their Christian faith.  We participate in local and long distance mission projects, summer camps, and fun outings.

Each Tuesday evening program begins with a healthy meal prepared and served by youth families and church member volunteers prior to splitting up into age appropriate groups as outlined on the previous page. Our mealtime begins at 5:30pm.

We need YOUR help to prepare, cook, serve and clean up the meals each week.

A weekly menu has already been created and the food will be purchased prior to the children’s arrival each week. We ask that volunteers that sign up arrive by 4:00pm to start meal preparations.

Please feel free to sign up for more than one time slot and you may also sign up as a group. These meals encourage fellowship among the children and teachers. Volunteering to cook for our Tuesday Night Children & Youth Program is a vital role in our mission.
